Establishing Service for New Residential or Commercial Customers

In order to establish service with the Westborough Water District, an Application for Water and Sewer Service (see PDF link below) will need to be completed and returned to the District along with an $150.00 refundable deposit. The deposit will be applied to the customer's final closing bill. A check will be issued for any remaining credit within 30 days of closing the account. Transferred customers will need to complete the same requirements.

If service is currently off, please complete the release portion of the application located on the back page of the Application for Water and Sewer Service so that District staff may turn the water service back on. We also recommend that the Emergency Response System portion be completed; also located in the back page of the Application for Water and Sewer Service. This will facilitate contacting customers in the event of emergencies.

To start service, you will need to download the following documents: Applications received after 4:00 p.m. will not be processed until the next business day. All the information detailed in your application is vital and confidential. Incomplete applications will be returned, causing a delay in processing.

All customers, please complete all items thoroughly and return the application and other necessary forms, along with your $150.00 deposit. The deposit may be made in the form of cash, check, money order, cashier’s check, or credit card (Visa and MasterCard only).

If you move out, please notify the District of your new mailing address. Your deposit will be applied to your closing bill upon termination of your account. Remaining funds will be mailed to you soon after (minimum refund $2.00).

If you choose to pay by credit card and will be sending your application via mail or fax, please provide us with your credit card’s billing zip code.
